Story of brand Javorina began in 1947 in the foothills of the Tatry Mountains in the village of Spišská Bělá. Javorina began making wood products with an artistic-industrial style and has become a major producer of furniture made from Slovakian and Czech trees for middle Europe.
International collaboration, employment of modern technology, and handmade craftsmanship has earned Javorina many awards. The head of the company is designer Leo Čellár. Other important designers are Studio Vrtiška, Žák, Boris Klimek and Lenka Damová. Javorina also includes designers from Italy and Switzerland.
Javorina company has engaged with ecological, best-practices from its inception. Materials, especially massive oak and American walnut tree, come from renewable resources. For every product sold, Javorina plants another new young oak tree. The surface of Javorina pieces are all-natural, highlighting the craftsmanship and construction of each unique finished production.
