The Czech brand Leeda takes its name from a previous company and was co-founded in 2003 by Lucie Kutálková. Lucie has owned Leeda since 2013 and is also a successful, independent designer who’s presented her designs at exhibitions and fashion shows both locally and around the world. Lucie Kutálková fashion is known for its minimalist design, an eye for detail, and a variety of high-quality materials and original prints. Leeda also offers original design and production of wedding dresses.

Leeda has designed and created wedding dresses for renowned architect Jan Kaplický and later collaborated on two fashion collections with him. Oscar winning actors Tilda Swinton and social activist Susan Sarandon have both been seen shopping at Leeda’s boutique.

The Leeda boutique also has fashion accessories, jewelry, backpacks and bags from other studios such as PBG, Alex Monhart, Janja Prokič and Eva Růžičková jewelry.

Lucie, and Leeda believe in fashion sustainability and the “smart wardrobe,” this means less is more if it’s high-quality. This personal and professional philosophy is why Leeda offers dresses for rent. Lucie plans to open a full-service rental shop in the future.
