Papelote

We are papelote, a design stationery brand and graphic studio. Our mission is to show the world that creativity is a skill that everyone can master. Hand in hand with the development of design products, we therefore position paper as a tool for an active life. We strive to move the stationery world forward, while not forgetting that paper is not just a material, but above all an experience that has its important place even in the digital age.

The concept of papelote was born on the pages of the diploma thesis of graphic designer Kateřina Šachová, who in 2009, together with two partners, Denisa Havrdová and Filip Šach, transformed it into an established Czech brand.

Since then, we have been creating notebooks, diaries and planners that are a joy to write in. We believe that every product can be a celebration of quality design that will never go out of style, which is why we focus on original creation and craftsmanship.

We play fair with the planet and our notebooks are not the only ones that boast high-quality binding. We cooperate with local manufacturers and creators with whom we share a kind approach to the environment. We design and manufacture all our products in the Czech Republic - from the first sketch to the last bound sheet.
